Double wide modular home placed on 4.5 inch triple helix helical piles.
Expansive soils in this area required piles to be deeper than 15 feet to avoid changing ground moisture conditions. Installed to 18 feet and installed plates and brackets for support.
The outside piles required 5000ftlbs of torque and the centers required 65oo. Final torque achieved was above 10,000ft lbs.
