The construction for the Starbucks building was lagging, notably with the concrete floor for prefab wall supports yet to be poured, just as Starbucks executives were scheduled to inspect the wall installations.
To remedy this, and following discussions with the contractor, piles were rapidly driven the following day and completed within 24 hours.
Notably, some of these piles were installed deeper than initially anticipated, but this was done without any additional cost burdening the contractor.
Despite the initial setbacks, the walls were installed right on schedule, as if there had been no hitches.
